AK provides a window to the nervous system to help identify the relationships between structural, chemical and mental factors that contribute to health and disease. AK is an interdisciplinary approach to health care which draws together the core elements of the complementary therapies, creating a more unified approach to the diagnosis and treatment of functional illness. Just as the NRT utilizes the nervous system via muscle testing, AK has a similar approach.

We are finding that this technique is significantly complementing our spinal manipulation assessments. Subluxations are identified via motion palpation of each joint in the body. AK can then be used to confirm the subluxation by a muscle response of weakness. Once the subluxation has been corrected, the muscle response will turn strong – confirming the success of our treatment.
