CANCELLATION AND MISSED APPOINTMENT POLICY

Our goal is to provide our patients with quality individualized veterinary care in a timely manner. We would like to inform you of our office policy regarding missed appointments. Because we are a busy practice, this policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients waiting for medical care. We understand that occasional missed appointments can occur for a variety of reasons.

Please call Integrative Veterinary Services promptly at 517-292-8880 if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. This time can be reallocated for a patient who is in need of treatment. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. You may leave a message on voicemail if applicable.

Our Mission

Integrative Veterinary Services is here to help improve your pet's quality of life. We strive to complement what your regular veterinarian has already accomplished. We believe that conventional medicine has its place and benefits in caring for our pets, however the allopathic way has its limitations as well. We will strive to incorporate treatment modalities that are not taught in most veterinary schools. Modalities and theories that can really change the course in how you manage your pet's care and overall health (and hopefully yours and your family's as well)..

I truly feel that each patient walking through our doors here at IVS is here for a reason – to find another path to heal. A path that maybe has not yet been explored, or a path to complement when conventional treatment benefits have reached a plateau. I am not an expert in anything, ego is always left in check and I am constantly open to learning new things – from my colleagues and especially my clients. I never promise to know everything, but if I am stumped, I will pursue the information that might help your pet in the most effective and natural way possible. I am a big believer in intention and you can trust that mine will always be in your pet's best interest. I will communicate with your regular veterinarian on my findings and recommendations as we need to work together to accomplish the primary goal of improving your pets quality of life.
